Spring 2005 Grade 5 & 6 Science Fair Online Display
Welcome to the EXPO online science fair. During the spring (10-day) rotaion through science, learners were challenged to create an investigation surrounding some area of their interests. We brainstormed areas of interest. They sought background information related to it. They imagined what variables they could control and measure (independent and dependent variables). They developed a procedure. They assembled materials and conducted trials, making observations and amassing data. They tabulated and graphed their data. They drew conclusions about their initial question, based on their findings. They suggested further experiments.
