EXPO's Special Features Discovery Club offers extended-day programs before and after school (fee charged). Teaching specialists in computer technology, science, visual arts/humanities music and bodily kinesthetic (physical education) provide additional learning opportunities outside the regular classroom. Social Science themes provide depth of knowledge and develop lifetime reasoning and communication skills. EXPO has many parents who volunteer and partner with educators to help students learn. Special Education and ELL students are included in general classes. EXPO has partnerships with the Minneapolis Institute of Art, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Ordway Center that benefit EXPO students. Enrichment classes for students are available which allow children to pursue and learn about a subject that interests them, including world languages.
