Winter has returned!

We awoke to our chilliest morning yet. A balmy 4 degrees aboe zero, accroding to the thermometer outside of Kirby Cabin.
One of our small groups went cross country skiing this morning after breakfast. Of the ski group, half went across the lake, while others ventured onto the Widjiwagan trails.
A study group completing wilderness survival took shelter building to new heigths or widths, by builsing a shelter that could hold nine kids (one on a dled) and four adults comfortably.
Team building included various activities aimed at building or fostering trust in oneself and others. It helped smal study groups focus on working togther and learning together.
Our evening activities included Boreal Black Bears and Night Sky. We enjoyed our large group presentation about the night sky. We had spectacular views of the constellations.
Another full day here at Camp Widjiwagan. Definitely looking forward to another wonderful day tomorrow.
