Welcome to Room 217 | 218
What an exciting place to be! Our learning has taken us many places. Ask us about the past. We have been learning about the Civil War and the Underground Railroad, westward expansion and pioneer life. To stay informed, we watch CNN Student News daily and once a week, we read USA Today. Ask us "How to" and we will be able demonstrate 53 ways to make frogs, ice cream, cookies and kites just to name a few. We are learning how to eat healthy from the University of Minnesota Extension Office. And through it all, we are reading, reading, reading. Each class has read 16 million words and counting.
