Welcome to our Blog Project

Our resource students in 5/6 grade are learning about blogs.

During this school year, our learning has been directed towards new web technologies. Our primary focus during the year was learning to build podcasts. We utilized Garageband, to build our own unique soundtracks, iTunes, to publish our podcast projects and to condense music, and iWeb, to publish and market our projects in the classroom.

During our last rotation, in 5/6 grade we are focusing on learning about blogs. We are going to build a sample blog to teach students the basics about writing and publishing a blog. We are focusing on these new technologies to help inform and educate our students about web usage in an appropriate manner. We want our students to be aware of these technologies and learn to make good and informed choices when using the internet.
