Early Childhhood Special Education
Did you know that Expo offers more than just a K-6 educational program? Among Expo's diverse programs is an Early Childhood Special Education Program! There are three early childhood classrooms that serve children with communication disabilities aged two to five.

Our program is part of the St. Paul Public School Districts range of services offered to handicapped preschoolers. There are classrooms for autistic preschoolers and for preschoolers with developmental delays beyond just speech and language. Some children may receive additional speech and occupational therapy in other settings such as at the Head Start program. There is a parent/infant program for children under two years of age.

The St. Paul Public School Distric is seen as a leader in delivering appropriate and effective programming for delayed preschoolers. These services are free to any resident of St. Paul and are guaranteed by federal and state laws for all children who qualify.

If you have a concern about your child's development, please contact Early Special Education at (651) 604-3700. The first step is to talk to a screener who will help set up appropriate testing to determine if your child would qualify for special services.
