EXPO Community Happenings
Parents volunteer in a variety of ways
Parents volunteer in a variety of ways
EXPO is a unique school with an abundance of enriching
activities stimulating students to think and learn
creatively. When our daughter entered kindergarten in
September 2003, I wondered how parents might
participate, both to be helpful to teachers and also
to be a part of our daughter's learning process.

I have discovered that EXPO offers endless rewarding
and challenging opportunities for parents. Whether I
have stopped in to read a quick book with students or
stayed all day for a field trip or holiday
celebration, teachers have shown incredible
flexibility in accommodating parents' ideas and
schedules.

EXPO provides countless rewarding opportunities to
spend time in your child's school from tutoring or
work on important school committees to dances, book
fairs and chili festivals. Spending time at EXPO has
enabled me to meet my daughter's cuddly little
friends, to see the masterful staff at EXPO engaging
our children's curious minds, to lend a hand wherever
I have been needed, and to ask my daughter engaging
questions about her day at school because I have been
a part of her classroom activities and routines.
Everyday EXPO staff kindly greets our family, smiling
and eagerly welcoming us to the EXPO community.
